The TANG Board awards scholarships to students and families of Between Friends Art Center, Next Generation Dance Studio, and Next Generation Theatre based upon merit and financial need. It is our goal to foster continued engagement and a life-long love or the arts.
Our mission is to make Theatre, Dance, and the Arts accessible to as many young people in the area as possible. We strongly believe that involvement in the Arts at an early age is beneficial to a persons emotional and cognitive growth and development.
Our programs aim to improve students confidence, imagination, and collaborative skills they need to perform their chosen art and to thrive as members of the community.
Theater is a place where I get to be free and express myself through song and dance. The directors here are the people who I should really thank. They are always supporting me and the entire cast the whole way. I have made so many friends along my journey who are always helping me with absolutely anything. This theater has taught me to love myself, things aren't what they seem, follow your heart, and laughter really is the best medicine."
